Delta Air Lines is a member of SkyTeam, the world’s second largest airline alliance, with global cooperation and partnerships. The most important partners are Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines: In 2009, the three airlines joined forces to create a transatlantic joint venture. The perfectly coordinated flight schedules allow passengers to choose between several departure times, thereby always finding the best connection for their trip to North America. The three airlines also jointly offer attractive, combinable tariffs and harmonized services on all transatlantic flights, regardless which partner operates the flight.

New Terminal at New York-JFK

Delta Air Lines, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and JFK International Air Terminal LLC officially opened the new Terminal 4 and New York’s JFK Airport on May 24, 2013. The new facility is part of a comprehensive 1.4 billion USD airport overhaul. After a construction period of several years, Delta now operates from T4, a state of the art terminal that fulfills all requirements of a worldwide hub.

The comprehensive conversion work includes

  • Nine new and seven modernized gates
  • Modernized and optimized check-in lobby, including a special check-in area for Sky Priority passengers
  • Attractive restaurants and shops
  • Central security checking
  • Improved facilities for customs, border security and baggage reclaiming

The extensive investment is rounded off by the Delta Sky Club Lounge, the largest Delta lounge in the airline’s network. Passengers enjoy a selection of culinary delicacies, including sushi, meat dishes, cheese and desserts. The Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, who has also selected the wine list for Delta One, has chosen an exclusive series of open wines for the Sky Club, including Dom Perignon and Muga Prado Enea, Gran Reserva. Anyone seeking a more private atmosphere can reserve the Ciroc Lounge exclusively inside the Delta Sky Club.
Our very first Sky Deck outdoor terrace is an absolute highlight. The new outdoor area invites passengers to an unrivalled view of the runways of one of the world’s most important airports.

Business Bonus Program

BlueBiz – The business bonus program for KMU

In 2010, Delta Air Lines became a member of the BlueBiz business bonus program from Air France and KLM. With BlueBiz, companies can save business travel costs in a quick and easy way by collecting bonus points – known as Blue Credits – for all their employees’ flights with Air France, KLM, Delta Air Lines and participating partner airlines. Blue Credits can then be redeemed for flights or upgrades. Registration is free and non-binding. There is no minimum sales volume or number of passengers.
